KOOTINGAL MAN CHARGED AFTER ANZAC DAY BRAWL

A 31-year-old Kootingal man has been charged following a scuffle at West Tamworth Diggers on Anzac Day.

Police allege the man refused to leave the venue, before having to be physically removed by officers, then attempting to headbutt a security guard.

He’s been granted conditional bail and will face Tamworth Local Court in May.
