MAN AIRLIFTED AFTER CHERRY PICKER CRASH

A 65-year-old man has been flown to hospital in a stable condition after a cherry picker toppled over at Berkeley Vale.

The man was working in the bucket about six metres above a concrete slab, when the cherry picker tipped over, the man falling to the ground with the machinery landing on top of him.

Paramedics treated him at the scene, before he was flown to Royal North Shore Hospital.
