A Boambee man has been charged with impersonating a police officer.
The 48-year-old allegedly approached two men on Lyons Road at Sawtell yesterday afternoon, pretending to be a policeman.
Officers later arrested the man at Seabreeze Place and seized dashcam footage.
He’s been granted conditional bail.
