MAN FLEES FROM CESSNOCK ROOF CAVITY IN ATTEMPT TO EVADE POLICE

More charges are expected to be laid against a 23-year-old man, after an ATV was stolen from a property at Mount Vincent, south of Kurri Kurri.

The man was arrested after a short foot pursuit on Alpine Avenue at Cessnock on Monday afternoon, having moments earlier climbed out of the roof cavity of a home in an attempt to evade police.

Following his arrest, he was charged with a number of offences including intimidation.
