GAV’S WEATHER | SOUTHERLY CHANGE ON THE WAY

A fine warm day is on the way for Tuesday, with a late southerly expected to reach the Central Coast and Newcastle around sunset.

It’ll trigger some coastal showers, keeping the mercury down on Wednesday.

Elsewhere, Cyclone Wallace has formed off the north west coast, while a series of cold fronts are moving across parts of the south east.

Closer to home and the winds will tend from the west in the morning, before spinning around to the south.
