A family, south of Gunnedah, has been left homeless after fire destroyed their home just before lunchtime today.
There was little fire crews could do to save the Curlewis property, as flames completely engulfed the home.
It took crews roughly an hour to contain the blaze.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
