A man in his 60’s has died after falling out of a boat on the North Coast this morning.
He and a 37-year-old man were in a tinny on the Richmond River at East Wardell when both fell overboard around 7:30am.
The older man was pulled from the water unconscious and despite attempts to resuscitate him, he couldn’t be saved.
The man in his 30’s was taken to Lismore Base Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been established and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
