They were the only public school to compete in the tournament, which made their win that much sweeter.
Warialda High School’s under-15 girls side was undefeated at the Canberra Grammar Invitational Sevens comp.
They played private and independent schools from Sydney, Canberra and Queensland.
Coach Dale Beattie was thrilled with the girls’ performance.
