COAST PADDLERS NAMED IN NATIONAL SQUADS

The Central Coast has had numerous paddlers named in Australian sprint kayaking squads this week, including Olympians Lachlan Tame and Riley Fitzsimmons.

Ella Beere was selected as a Senior for the first time, while Iron-woman champion Jemma Smith was chosen at both under-23 and 21s level, along with Byron Chadwick and Fletcher Cunningham, who will compete in New Zealand.

Rob and Alex McIntyre will also wear the green and gold at the World Cup in France in June.
