CALROSSY ANGLICAN SCHOOL SPORTS ORANGE IN HONOUR OF HARMONY DAY

There was a sea of orange at Calrossy Anglican School today, as students and staff banded together for Harmony Day.

Staff say it’s important to teach young children to be tolerant and show kindness, particularly in the wake of the Christchurch terror attacks.

“Harmony Day is really about inclusion and about everybody having a place, and that’s something that we as a school have always supported. In light of recent events, really important to highlight, I suppose, in these troubled times.”

Students donned orange T-shirts at schools all over the region, to show their support.
