COAST SURFERS SHINE AT PRO JUNIOR

Avoca Boardrider Lennox Chell had one of his best results at the weekend – finishing third at the Manly Pro junior.

But he couldn’t match Queenslander Alister Reginato, who scored a nine-point ride on his way to a dominant win.

Australian junior champion Joel Vaughan was eliminated in an epic semi, where zero-point-seven-five separated all four surfers.

Meanwhile, in The Girl’s division, North Shelly’s Molly Picklum also claimed third place.

The 16 year-old has had numerous wins this year and will now face World Number five Joanne Defay in Round Three of the Sydney Women’s Pro.
