GAV’S WEATHER: HIT AND MISS STORMS IN THE COMING DAYS

Tomorrow the deepening trough in the east will start to really ramp up.

Increasing storm and rain development across north eastern New South Wales and south eastern Queensland. More afternoon storm development along the northern ranges.

The storms are expected to roll off the eastern slopes and potentially affect areas along the northern New South Wales coast and south east Queensland.

Heavy down pours will be possible causing localised flash flooding. This is a very hit and miss event.

Some areas have the potential to be hit hard with severe storms while other areas may completely miss out. This system may jump over the Greater Hunter region.

Little notice will be given so paying attention to local warnings and forecasts in the coming days will be important.

Remaining fine and hot inland across the far north west.
