52-YEAR-OLD DIES AFTER TWEED VALLEY WAY CRASH

A 52-year-old man is dead, while a second man is in hospital after a motor vehicle accident near Murwillumbah in the state’s north.

Emergency services raced to the scene at Stokers Siding just after midday on Sunday, after reports a 1930 Ford hot rod had left the Tweed Valley Way and rolled.

The driver died at the scene, while his passenger, a 63-year-old, was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
