Tamworth’s Nick Kay is a step closer to securing an NBL championship with the Perth Wildcats – with the team taking a one-nil lead in the grand final series.
The west-coast franchise defeated Melbourne United 81-71 in Perth overnight.
Kay finishing the match with 10 points, four rebounds, and five assists.
The Wildcats now travel to Melbourne, for game two of the series.
