Police are seeking public help as they investigate the indecent assault of a 17-year-old girl on the New South Wales Far North Coast.
Officers have been told the teenager had just got out of the water at Pottsville Beach at around 12 o’clock on Monday, when she was followed up the beach by a man.
The man spoke with the girl, before indecently assaulting her.
Tweed Byron Police are now hoping to speak with a man, described as being of athletic build, with a tanned complexion, brown messy hair, and a distinctive tattoo of the sun on his right shoulder.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
