BUDGEWOI MAN RETURNS ALLEGED RBT RESULT OF 0.378

A Central Coast man has been charged with high range drink driving, after he returned an alleged reading more than seven times the legal limit in Sydney’s north west.

The Budgewoi man was detained by residents, after he blocked the entrance to a round-a-bout while attempting to park at Kellyville Ridge on Friday afternoon.

Local police were called to Merriville Road, where the 46-year-old returned a positive roadside breath test.

He was taken to Riverstone Police Station for a secondary test, where he returned an alleged reading of 0.378.

He’ll face court at Blacktown in Sydney on March 11.

His licence was also suspended.
