She was announced as co-captain of the Hockeyroos, but this weekend Armidale’s Georgie Morgan will carry those responsibilities on her own.
The Hockeyroos will play USA on Saturday in Sydney – in the latest round of the FIH Pro League series.
Morgan returned from injury in Perth two-weeks ago, where they beat Great Britain.
Ranked number three in the world, the Hockeyroos will enter the match as firm favourites, over the 12th-placed USA.
