Emergency crews have scrambled to free a truck driver, trapped in his vehicle after a crash on the M-1 motorway north of Sydney.
The driver slammed into back of another truck at Mooney Mooney, with firefighters pulling him to safety and on to a stretcher.
The man believed to be in his 40’s was attended to by a CareFlight doctor and airlifted to hospital.
Two northbound lanes remain closed as of midday, with heavy traffic expected as workers clean up debris from the smash.
