A 46-year-old man has died in a motorcycle crash near Singleton this morning.
Emergency services were called to the New England Highway at Belford around 1:30am.
The man could not be revived and died at the scene.
Southbound lanes on the highway were closed for a number of hours, but traffic is now moving as usual.
Police are investigating the incident and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
