The Mariners have been dealt another blow today, with test results ruling Tommy Oar out for the remainder of the season.
The 27-year-old sustained a knee injury against Sydney FC on the weekend.
After the midfielder attempted an aerial challenge on Sky Blues defender Alex Wilkinson… he landed awkwardly on his left foot and hyper-extended his knee, causing a ligament strain.
The club says it’s unlikely Oar will require surgery, but estimate his recovery time is up to 12-weeks.
