SWINDELL’S STORY: PETITION LAUNCHED OVER ATTACKER’S SENTENCE

A man stabbed during an altercation, which also claimed his best friend’s life, says his attacker’s community service sentence is a slap on the wrist fit for non-violent offenders.

Survivor Adam Swindell has questioned the judge’s call, as a petition launched to review Joel Brooks’s sentence for reckless wounding has gained more than 3,000 signatures.
