A WIN AND A LOSS FOR HUNTER HURRICANES AGAINST BALMAIN

It was a mixed day for the Hunter Hurricanes in the Australian Water Polo League.
The men’s team edged out Balmain by one, but the Sydney-siders dominated the women’s game.
Balmain set the tone early, with Caroline Anderson scoring twice in the opening minutes, before Rowie Webster also scored a double to make it four-nil.
The home fans finally had something to cheer about when Emma Preece hit the target.
Hurricanes keeper Kelsey Wakefield did her best to keep the score respectable.
While Rachel Fattal gave Hunter some hope of a comeback, but the visitors went on to complete a big win.
