TWO YOUNG BOYS APPROACHED BY MAN AT PAXTON

Police are seeking the help of the public to locate a man who approached two young boys at Paxton in the Hunter Valley.

The pair, aged 6 and 8, had just got of a school bus on Sawyer Street at around 3:40 on Thursday, when a man sitting in a nearby car signalled them over.

Both boys ran home along McDonald and Francis Streets, where it’s believed the vehicle followed them.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 50s, with a long grey beard, and grey hair worn in a ponytail.

He was last seen driving along Anderson Street, in a white ute with grey tinted windows and a black canopy on a white coloured tray.
