$10 MILLION MAKEOVER FOR WILFRED BARRETT DRIVE

Cash continues to be splashed on roads across the region – the state government allocating more than $10-million, to upgrade Wilfred Barrett Drive, between The Entrance North and Norah Head.

The money will pay for safety improvements, including wire rope barriers, and new turning lanes.

“It’s a very important arterial road her in The Entrance. It connects North Entrance to Magenta and Toukley. Unfortunately we’ve seen seven fatalities in 9 years and it’s great to see today funding that should go a long way towards making that statistic is not repeated.” – Taylor Martin- MLC for the Central Coast

Work is due to begin, within months.
