Hunter football’s Heritage Cup is back for 2019, featuring two new teams – Merewether Advance, founded in 1894 and Minmi Wanderers, the state’s first soccer club, which began 135 years ago.
The pair joins NPL clubs Edgeworth, Weston and Lake Macquarie in the cup, which kicks off on Sunday.
