A man is recovering in hospital, after his car was reportedly hit by another vehicle on the New South Wales-Queensland border.
The 67-year-old suffered chest injuries in the accident at Wallangarra, north of Tenterfield, late on Friday afternoon.
The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter’s clinical team and paramedics treated the man, before he was flown to Lismore Base Hospital.
He’s reported to be in a stable condition.
