BODY OF 43-YEAR-OLD MAN FOUND IN CLARENCE RIVER

The body of a man has been found in a vehicle in the Clarence River near Grafton.

Police say a member of the public discovered the vehicle submerged in the river off Rogan’s Bridge on Saturday morning.

Emergency services retrieved the body of a 43-year-old man from a Toyota Landcruiser.

It’s believed the vehicle plunged into the water on the 16th or 17th of January.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
