MIXED RESULTS FOR COASTIES AT GROM SEARCH

There have been mixed results for Central Coast surfers in the final stages of the Rip Curl Grom Search.

Copacabana’s Olly Bolton and Shelly Beach’s Joel Barry were knocked out in round two of the under 16s boy’s division.

While in the girl’s, Molly Picklum managed a two-wave total of 12.83 in the quarter-finals.

The North Shelly boardrider nearly doubling her competitor’s score to secure a spot in the semis.
