SYDNEY JUNIOR CRICKETERS’ WIN CARNIVAL

Sydneysiders dominated both the under 12’s and under 13’s junior cricket carnivals held in the Northern Rivers this week.

At Oakes Oval, Northshore proved too strong for Parramatta batting 302 runs, while the Wests rounded out the game on 67.

Meanwhile at Kingsford Smith Park, Northshore was defeated in the under 13’s, going down to Manly by 84 runs.

The annual competition gives junior players their first taste of competitive cricket.
