TOBY PRICE CONTINUING TO PUSH DESPITE WRIST INJURY

Australia’s Toby Price has admitted he’ll have to push through the pain barrier during this year’s Dakar rally, as he continues to contend with a wrist injury he suffered last month.

The 2016 champion completed stage one in sixth position, just over three minutes off the lead pace.

Speaking before he set off, Price knew the 2019 event was going to be unique.
