INVESTIGATION CONTINUES INTO ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY AT STANFORD MERTHYR

Police have released images of a white Holden Commodore they believe was used in an attempted armed robbery near Kurri Kurri.

The bandit threatened a Stanford Merthyr service station worker with a pipe wrench on December 22, before fleeing empty-handed.

He’s described as being aged in his early 20s, around 165 centimetres tall, with a thin build, and was wearing a dark hoodie, long pants and black work boots.

Anyone who may have seen him, or the vehicle, should contact Crime Stoppers.
