WOMAN TREATED FOR INTERNAL INJURIES AFTER NORTH COAST CRASH

A woman in her 40s has been flown to hospital, following a single vehicle crash on the state’s far north coast.

The accident happened at Cudgera Creek just after 2 o’clock on Monday afternoon, with initial reports suggesting the car left the road and rolled, before coming to rest in a nearby paddock.

Paramedics, alongside a clinical team from the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter treated the woman for chest and internal injuries.

She’s been flown to Gold Coast University Hospital.
