With rain still scarce across the North West, the Gwydir region is the latest to be hit with water restrictions.
From tomorrow, level 1 restrictions will be in place for Bingara, Warialda, North Star and Gravesend.
It means sprinklers and hoses are off-limits during the day, from now until the end of February.
And Tamworth could be next – as Chaffey Dam drops below 40-per cent capacity for the first time since it was upgraded in 2016.
