FATAL CRASH NORTH OF GRAFTON

One person is dead and three others are in hospital, following a two-car crash on the Summerland Way, north of Grafton.

The accident happened just before 3 o’clock on Saturday afternoon at Clifden – two helicopters among the emergency services called to the scene.

A total of six people were involved in the crash.

One of the injured was taken to hospital in a serious condition, while two others were reported as being serious but stable.

Another two people were uninjured.

The Summerland Way remains closed, with motorists advised to use the Pacific Highway.
