GAV’S WEATHER: TEMPERATURES SET TO PEAK

Another cracking, hot, dry, summers day is on the way.

The hot spell is set to continue over the next two days.

For the coast seabreezes with help to cap off maximum temperatures.

There’s now very little cloud over the tropics with the thundery showers easing. Some scattered cloud is crossing western and southern New South Wales causing a few storms this afternoon.

Cyclone Penny is moving away from the coast getting stronger.

And hot air will continue to be drawn down from Central Australia ahead of a near stalled trough. The days will only get hotter in the coming days.
