GAV’S BACK: THE SUMMER SWELTER ROLLS ON

There’s cloud over the tropics with the thundery showers continuing. Some scattered cloud is crossing southern New South Wales causing a few storms this afternoon.
Hot air continues to be drawn down from Central Australia ahead of a trough. Onshore winds could cause some showers on the Queensland coast. Cyclone Penny is moving away from the coast in the far north.
Tomorrow another hot, dry, summer day is on the way. For the coast seabreezes will help to cap off maximum temperatures with the only chance of a shower occurring from the Gold Coast to the Tweed.
