ELVIS DOES THE ROCK N ROLL

Australia’s crankiest crocodile has turned 53!

“Elvis” the five-metre croc calls The Australia Reptile Park home on the Central Coast and today his handlers gave him a special birthday treat – a quarter of a cow.

It appeared Elvis was about to bite the hand that feeds him, until he backed off and performed a signature death roll.

“Once Elvis grabbed the carcass there was no letting go until he got a mouthful of food, it was quite the tough game of tug-of-war! Then the death-rolling started and that gave the people watching a real show!”, said the park’s Head of Reptiles Daniel Rumsey.

Elvis now lives at the reptile park after he was causing havoc to fishing fleets in the Northern Territory.

The 500 kilo beast earned the “cranky” title, after eating his owner’s lawnmower.

Happy Birthday Elvis.
