A 19 year-old girl is in a serious condition after the car she was in rolled at Wallabadah around 10 o’clock Monday morning.
She was thrown from the vehicle, and treated by paramedics for head and chest injuries before being flown to John Hunter Hospital.
Meanwhile, a two-truck crash blocked the New England Highway in both directions further up the road.
Police were called to the scene outside Tamworth, where they found a truck had rolled around 5am
Diversions were in place for several hours, before the highway reopened in one direction later in the morning.
No one was injured.
