MAN DIES AT CENTRAL COAST MUSIC FESTIVAL

A man has died and two others are being treated after taking an unknown substance at the Lost Paradise music festival, west of Gosford.

The 22-year-old Queensland man was rushed to Gosford Hospital at around 8 o’clock last night, but tragically died a short time later.

Two others, a man and a woman, are still receiving treatment in hospital – both in a stable condition.

Police say they ingested an unknown substance and became sick.

Three people have so far been charged with drug offences at the Glenworth Valley festival, which began on Friday.

These include a 21-year-old man from Drummoyne, allegedly caught with 105 MDMA pills and a 23-year-old man from Elanora Heights allegedly caught with both MDMA and cocaine.

They’re due to appear in Gosford Local Court on January 18.
