Former Member for Lyne Rob Oakeshott says he won’t be making an announcement about his political future until the New Year.
Speculation has been rife that the former independent MP – who worked with the Gillard Government following the 2010 election – would today reveal his intention to run for the federal seat of Cowper.
However, Port Macquarie-based Mr Oakeshott today told NBN News that he won’t be making any announcements until January.
