The search for a man swept out to sea north of Coffs Harbour on Monday has resumed this morning.

The man hasn’t been seen since the group of people he was swimming with on Monday evening got into difficulty at Moonee Beach.

Two men aged 35 and 45 sadly drowned, however three teenagers were rescued.

The group are believed to have been holidaying from Sydney.

The search was called off for the remaining man due to poor light late yesterday.

Westpac and Polair helicopters have joined the search today, along with NSWPF Marine Area Command, Marine Rescue and Coffs Clarence Police.
