A man has died after being hit by an oncoming truck on the M1 this morning at Brunswick Heads.
It’s believed the man walked onto the Pacific Highway at 6am near the Brunswick Heads Interchange.
The man who is yet to be identified died at the scene.
The truck driver stopped after the crash and was taken to the nearby Bryon Bay Hospital for compulsory testing.
The scene has now been cleared and traffic is moving in the area.
