GUNNEDAH MEALS ON WHEELS TREATED TO FUNDING TOP UP
There’s been a welcome treat for the Gunnedah Meals on Wheels with $20,000 of state government funding announced.
The money will go towards upgrading and organising the back-of-office dealings, including extra storage and a security system.
“We have up to 60 on the books, but they vary from week to week and day to day actually. At this time of the year they drop off a bit because family come and take their family members home,” Colleen Fuller, President Gunnedah Meals on Wheels.
Work is expected to begin early next year.
