SYDNEY ROOSTERS AND CRL JOIN FORCES

The Sydney Roosters have announced a new long-term partnership with Country Rugby League on the Central Coast.

As part of the deal, the club is promising a first-class training facility at Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College, including field upgrades and a new gym.

“With this facility I guess you can call it a mini centre of excellence that we’re building here will not only benefit the junior population of the Central Coast but the highschool itself into growing into a sports school as well. ” – Terry Quinn- CEO Country Rugby League

The aim of the partnership is to ensure a pathway to the NRL for thousands of junior players.

“What we want to do is for the kids to actually stay here through their schooling years, play locally on the Central Coast for the Central Coast representative sides and then hopefully we can take them down to Sydney Roosters Under 20s and hopefully then achieve their dream.” – John Strange- Roosters Development Manager
