A 31-year-old man is in a stable condition, after being stabbed earlier this week.
Just before midnight on Monday December 17, the man attended The Entrance Police Station with a stab wound to his abdomen.
Paramedics were called and he was treated, before being air-lifted to Liverpool Hospital.
It’s believed the 31-year-old was sitting in his car with a woman in the lower car park of Toowoon Bay Beach, when they were approached by a man.
He then allegedly reached into the car and stabbed the victim, before fleeing the scene.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
