55 YEAR-OLD INJURED IN CAR ACCIDENT NORTH OF NEWCASTLE

A 55 year-old-man has suffered arm and leg injuries in a car accident north of Newcastle.

Emergency services, including the Westpac Rescue Helicopter were called to Campvale near Williamtown on Sunday night.

When they arrived they found a man trapped within the wreckage.

He was freed and taken to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
