In the Women’s Big Bash, the Sydney Thunder beat the Adelaide Strikers in Hobart.
The Thunder won the toss and elected to bowl.
And it paid off – Maisy Gibson was impressive with 3/23.
Fellow Hunter cricketer Sam Bates claimed one of her own, as the Strikers amassed 132.
