HAMWICKS WIN TOM LOCKER CUP

Hamilton-Wickham has won the Newcastle District competition’s Tom Locker Cup overcoming University in today’s final.

Hamwicks batted second and were chasing 162 for victory.

Opener David Stevenson survived an early appeal and then rode his luck.

He eventually fell on 43 and earned the Locker medal for man of the match.

His team mates went on with the job.. Hamwicks passed the total with four wickets to spare.
