MORE CASH TO IMPROVE PEST MANAGEMENT IN REGIONAL AREAS

The state government is releasing a further $1.5-million, to improve pest management in regional communities.

Primary Industries Minister Niall Blair, says the money will help farmers and landowners effectively manage stock throughout summer, and further protect vulnerable animals.

The additional funding brings the government’s total pest management contribution, to 7.5 million.
