TWO PEOPLE CHARGED FOLLOWING PURSUIT NEAR NERONG

Two people have been charged with leading police on a pursuit on the mid-north coast yesterday.

At around 7:30am, the driver of an allegedly stolen BMW refused to stop for police.

The car was later found crashed into a tree near Nerong.

A 25-year-old female passenger and two children were found on Redbill Road, while the 22-year-old male driver allegedly fled on foot into bushland.

He was later arrested and faces a raft of charges.
